I am happy because I got a phone call this morning at 9 am asking me to work all 4 hours at Sylvan, as opposed to my usual 2, and I jumped at the opportunity. After I hung up I felt happy. And for the first time I realized that I am definately in the career I want to be in. Not only do I love teaching, I also can’t wait to start. This was a big moment for me. To KNOW for certain that you are going to be happy in your career is a very good thing to know. I feel almost relieved in a sense. This is what I want to do.

What is kind of funny is that I would watch the Sylvan Learning Center commercials on TV, and the commercial would state that the teachers who work there: “Just Love Teaching!”. Up until today I can honestly tell you I thought that line was a joke. I always just assumed it was just another job, a way to make money, and I am sure I am not the only one who felt that way. But I can tell you now, that the line in the commercial isn’t as cheesy as it sounds. I work at Slyvan Learning Center. I teach Math, and I do it because I love teaching.

I also made my lunch today. This is a new thing. I am eating a tuna sub, I MADE at home, a tiny bag of chips and some cottage cheese (snack size or better known as the “Greatest Invention Ever!”). But since it was such a good day I had to stop off at burger king to get my self a reward. yes, sitting next to the keyboard is my icee. (Stephanie takes a break from typing and takes a sip)

If you are a girl, or a guy, I want your suggestions, ideas, thoughts about it. I am having a lot of fun with it and it would be nice to know that I not doing it solely for Savanna’s amusement.

I was talking with a friend yesterday, and one conversation we had stuck out in my mind. The names have been changed to protect the innocent (I always wanted to say that, the real reason the names have been changed are just because I feel like it - but if you are clever enough you can guess who it might be, that is, if you know me peronsally). I will give you one hint though. You hint is “Book Two”.

Sam Pithe: “Do you ever think life is boring? The whole routine of it sometimes… Everyday is somewhat like the day before…”

Ed Mavia: “I think life is more boring for you in some ways. You are in a relationship. Everyday you wake up knowing someone loves you, and you know you might see that person. You know that probably this weekend the two of you will get together, watch a movie, or go out…”

Ed Mavia: “For me, I wake everyday not knowing what to expect. I wake up every morning thinking that today I might meet the person I could spend the rest of my life with… That’s not boring.”

Sam Pithe: “So, we are just talking about relationships right now. But think of everything else we could experience in a day. We could meet the most influential person in our lives. Something could happen that would change our lives forever. A tragedy, something wonderful, or simply something different…”

Ed Mavia: “Life doesn’t seem so boring after all…”

Sam Pithe: “No…”

So… Noel I was wondering if you could make my site pretty. Or at least prettier… I was also wondering why I cannot “float” an image to the left or right. I think I figured it out myself though, is it because I don’t have textile linked up to my website? Because it looks the same as comfortable girl, but I can’t do those neat little tricks. I am not liking not getting to italicize something just by using the “_” thingy. I had a cute picture of the snack size containers of cottage cheese when I ran into my problem. And the picture looked stupid just sitting there in the middle of the page. So I removed it immediately. I was also wondering if you could change the background color. I would like mint green. You don’t have to spend any time making it as pretty as comfortable girl, just change the background color, that’s easy, right? I wish I knew how to do that.

Other things I want changed (WHEN YOU HAVE TIME, NOT TODAY!)

1. The font size. Needs to be smaller. It’s huge!
2. The logo, needs to be different. Any font will do. If you want me to chose the font I will chose your favorite one. I would like my logo to be in the font: Comic Sans, lol, or was it the Zapf one you hate? Either one of those would look fine, ANYTHING is better than what is there now…
3. I will PAY you to do the color change font thingy for comfortable girl.
4. The textile thingy added.

Well I think that is enough “thingys” for noel to hate me for, so I am done now. I also think I am done updating.

My orignal plan today was to add in a whole bunch of pictures to make my site look pretty, but I have been spoiled with using textile, and am now against putting up any pictures that arn’t able to float this way and that. If you are not Noel, or familiar with websites, you will have no idea what I am talking about. So therefore the above 3 paragraphs are just for Noel, and I apologize for those of you who spent you time reading them.

what have i been up to?

well let’s see.

today was saturday. i did this:

1. got up and cleaned up a little bit.
2. took a shower.
3. ate half of a cold arby’s meal.
4. went to the scarecrow festival in downtown trenton.
5. found out that the bunny noel and i rescued from elizabeth park is actually named Max, and that about 5 months ago someone broke into his petting zoo barn and released all the animals. We have to take Max the bunny back to his real home tomorrow. I am a little sad about this.
6. went shopping with noel and bought some much needed “comforts”.
7. ate the most disgusting piece of pizza in the world at sabrarro in the mall. never again.
8. went to see: “team america, action force” or whatever it was called. the one with the puppets. it was so freaking funny, i haven’t laughed that much in a movie in a long time…
9. went to noels house and watched some alias season 1
10. went out to a late dinner at applebees with dave and jill and newly met joe (jill’s bf). our waitress was a little nuts, but nice.
11. went back to noel for more alias.
12. went into the hot tub to relax.
13. drove home.
14. talked to austin a little bit about getting rid of Max the bunny tomorrow.
15. yelled at austin for yelling at me for feeling bad about giving up the bunny that was never really rightfully mine to take.
16. realized that i have been neglecting my own bunny being so preoccupied with the new bunny.
17. gave phoeb lots of attention, and let her run around the living room.
18. five minutes later i returned phoebe to her gave due to the excessive amount of poo all over the floor.
19. sat down at the computer and began to update my website with the most pointless entry ever.
20. going to bed. good night.
