Request for Comments!

So…

Apparently the other day my Nana tried to log onto my site and it said ONCE AGAIN that my Bandwidth Limit* had been reached.

*Bandwidth Limit: Using the terms I understand, from what Noel has told me, it means in a nutshell that my site has had a ton of visitors, so many visitors in fact, that the space allotted for the visitors was used up.

This is very good news. HOWEVER… (Why would I would be mentioning this if it was not followed by the popular little word: “however”) HOWEVER, I would really like to know who is following this site. There is an easy, quick, and pain-free way to do this. I am asking you, if you frequent my site, to leave a comment. Since I am sharing my pictures, my stories, and my life with you, I would like you to share your name with me. (You don’t have to write your full name if you are afraid of internet scares, your first name and how you know of me will do just fine.) I am only asking because I am curious as ever, never before have so many people come to my site, and I must say, I am honored. Thank You All.

Here are the steps for leaving me a comment:

1. At the bottom of each entry is the word COMMENTS in pink writing. Click on that word…

2. Enter in your first name and your email address in the appropriate boxes…

3. Write me a sentence or two if you are feeling spicy…

4. Then click the POST COMMENT button.

That is it. It is easy, fast, and fun for all. Not only will I get to know who is reading my website, so will you. At any time, return to the site, click on the comments box again, and you can read the other comments that other people have left.

I am excited about this, as should you. I will be severely disappionted however (there’s that word again) if I only receive a few comments. I looked on my stats page, and it listed over 500 NEW people coming to my site last month alone. WHO ARE YOU ALL????? (I say NEW people because it counts the computers that have been to my site, not how many time you clicked on it in one day. For example, if my Nana got on the computer 11 times in one week, and she clicked to my website 40 times (in hopes of an update), it would still register as only being 1 of the 500 people.

I hope this makes sense, and I hope you leave a comment. Please!!! I want to know who you are! If there are no comments left at all, I will be forced to shut down the site altogether on account of heartbreak. Thank you for you time!

Hi! I am Scott Pearson’s mom (he’s part of your group). I found out about your website by bumping into Dean M. (I believe you were his assistant or something). Anyway it’s a SMALL world - we just happened to get into a conversation about college and traveling, etc. Your site is awesome! I especially enjoy the pictures (Scott hasn’t sent me any…….but we’ll spend days looking at them when he gets home). ENJOY the rest of your adventure!!

I read your website! me! it’s me! You already knew that I did, so this is not exciting news. It is 11 pm here, which means it is noon in Japan which means I will be expecting an email from you, girly!! Tomorrow when I get to work and sit down in my comfy little chair in my comfy little cubicle I will go to my email account. If it says “no new messages” I will begin to cry. You don’t want that on your conscience…do you!?!?!?! hehe :)

Your friends here on the FL team check in every so often to see how you are doing and to check out the pictures. We can’t wait to see you and to hear about your trip.

I am Noel’s much older :) friend Sue. Dean & I check Noel’s site for updates on the Japan trip but realized that you put much more info on your site plus you have a lot pics of Noel, so we check out both sites. I have enjoyed reading your entries, your writing is very entertaining. I don’t read them all but I check it at least once or twice a week. Have fun for the rest of the trip. Tell Noel hi.

Hey Stephanie, it’s your cousin Dan! I check your site periodically and from different computers (work, home, parents’ house, etc.) so I may have increased your hit count by a couple. 500 is alot, congrats! I haven’t really read too many posts lately. I have been busy, I am changing jobs and moving closer to home. And right now I am in Pittsburgh so the IP will show up as a new visitor. Anyway, I will read your previous posts soon to see how you are doing. But right off the bat I wanted to post to say that I am a regular visitor to your site. Talk to you later.
