My Life in Pictures?

Thursday, April 29th, 2004

Since I have nothing interesting to write about today, and since I love pictures of all sorts, I will post one. This is my cat Boots, his facial expression in this picture is ingenious. I love it. I hope you enjoy it. More pictures will come soon, for they are, by far, more interesting than reading about he complications of my life. I may even change the little saying up in the left hand corner to: “My life in pictures”. Maybe not.

And without further a do…..(drumroll please)…..I present to you…BOOTS!

P.S. For those of you who love Where’s Waldo?…..play the new game: Where’s Stephanie? (It is insanely hard to find me, even when I tell you there are only two reflective surfaces in the whole photo, but alas, I will let you search.)

First one to leave a comment telling the exact location of Stephanie wins a prize!! Play Now!

Today was just one of those days that all you need is the biggest hug ever, and for people to treat you nicely. Even though it was one of those days, I didn’t receive either.

Got Scared.

Got Sad.

Got Crushed.

I’m going to go curl up in my bed with my big pink fluffy pillow and dream that tomorrow will be better.

A Funny Moment:

Noel and I were talking about “Popping Pimples” the other day (You know, the act of squeezing the heck out of a horrid monster that creates a home for itself on your face?). Don’t ask me why we were on the subject, but we were. Anyways, he got tounge-tied and said (our new favorite phrase by the way) “Pimping Popples”. Now we are of the 80s generation, and if any of you are, you know what a “Popple” is, therefore how funny is it to think that it could be “Pimped”?

Happy Easter!!!

This is the Ice Sculpture we saw when we first walked into the ballroom at the Dearborn Inn.

Kelly wanted a picture with the Easter Bunny, and Christy and I joined her.

And then Aunt Joy INSISTED that Austin not get away without having his picture taken with the bunny as well.

This was my favorite food item. They are swans, but they are also dessert. I of course took one, but refused to eat it because of how incredibly cute it looked.

This was Austin’s favorite part. The “Heavenly Chocolate Fountain” (As he called it). You could dip any of the item’s featured around the table into the chocolate. Noel informed me later that this process is known as fondue. The act of dipping something into something else.

This is us sitting at the table. Austin is behind the camera.

When we came back to Aunt Joy’s house, Kara, Chris, and Chris’ girlfriend Rachel came over and had dinner (pizza) with us. I was, of course, taking the picture.

This is a cute picture of Christy and Kelly as they were leaving.

I Spy with My Little Eye, Something………….Fuzzy???

Thursday, April 8th, 2004

At 10:30am this morning I was in my Chemistry Lab. Today’s experiment was experimenting with Acids and Bases, and I got to handle all the acids we were using. Lucky me. We were heavily warned to wash our hands directly after handeling the acids, which of course I did. I left the class, walked across campus, and ate some lunch. Apparently at some point in time I must have rubbed my eye, my right eye to be precise. After that, I felt like my eye had been scrathed with a rusty nail, it hurt so bad. Finally, I got home and took out my contacts. My eye still hurts to this very second, and to make matters worse, when I look out of it, things are a blurry in the distance. I hope there is not an acid eating away at my eye. I have had something similar to this happen before to me, it happens often when my contacts have not been cleaned properly. However, if I wake up and it is still blurry and agitated, to the doctor I go. It should be a fun visit. I will keep you posted. Good Night!
