Inspiration

Today I woke up, showered, and stepped outside. The weather was insanely warm out, I felt like a nice blanket of warmth from the sun was cloaked over me all the while I walked to class. Every second leaves fell from the trees around me, preparing themselves to be blanketed with snow in the upcoming months. They would fall to the ground, and then dance in front of me. I watched them for a long time. It was then, as I stood on the sidewalk admiring the leaves, when I came upon an inspiration. I wanted to photograph the leaves, to preseve what I saw in front of me. I wanted to take a picture right there, although I had no camera on me. One the shots I would like to take would involve changing the exposure time on a camera. My present camera cannot do that, although I love it to death. For a little while now I have been teasing around the idea of buying a new camera, and today I made the decision that I am giong to. I want to take photgraphy more seriously. I want to be able to take all the shots that I have written down in my *wish* book, all of which I have not been to set up because of lack of time, and a more advanced camera. Whenever I gain enough money to purcahse a new camera, I am going to. I honestly don’t know what has been holding me back.

Steph…you are a dork. I stepped outside today and saw Stephanie dancing in front of me. I realized…what a dork! I didn’t really want to photograph her, because that would just be embarrassing. I hope that, when Steph gets a new camera, she’ll stop writing weird things on stephaniehaywood.com!
