The Lion King
Wednesday, October 29th, 2003Great Quotes:
Timon: “Okay, let me get this striaght. You(Simba) know her(Nala), and she knows you. But she wants to eat him(Pumba). And everybody’s okay with this????”
Simba: “You knew my father?
Rafiki: “Correction! I KNOW your father!”

My favorite scene:
Rafiki hits Simba on the head with a stick.
- “Owwww!!!! What did you do that for?” -Exclaims Simba.
Rafiki responds: “Who cares! It’s in the past”
- “Well it still hurts.” (Simba)
“Yes the past can hurt, but you can either run from it, or learn from it.” (Rafiki)
Rafiki swings the stick again, but this time Simba ducks, and the stick misses him.

I have been watching The Lion King ever since it had it’s debut in 1994. Now, almost ten years later, I have learned (for the first time!) these few facts:
1. James Earl Jones is the voice of Mufasa. (I know this is pathetic, but I really did not know it at the time!)
2. Matthew Broderick is the voice of grown-up Simba.
3. The voice of Zazu is narrarated by Mr. Bean!
